Also referred to as Neurofunctional Acupuncture because it is rooted on current concepts of neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, and pathophysiology.
Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique, in which fine solid needles are inserted and stimulated with or without electricity for the therapeutic purpose of modulating abnormal activity of the nervous, endocrine, exocrine and immune systems. Only single-use disposable sterile needles are used. With this treatment, the therapist will use a combination of massage with acupuncture.
At Panacea Massage Therapy, Acupuncture performed by a Registered Massage Therapist is performed within the scope of Massage Therapy practice. A Massage + Acupuncture treatment will be billed as a Massage Therapy treatment.

Cancellation Policy
To best serve all our clients, we require at least 12 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or changes.
Late Cancellation & No-Show Fees:

First Occurrence: 50% of the session fee.

Second & Subsequent Occurrences: 100% of the session fee.
How to Cancel or Reschedule:
You may manage your appointment easily through your online account, by phone during business hours, or via email at info@panaceamassage.ca (for changes outside of business hours).
Late Arrivals:
Appointments are forfeited if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled start time. This will be treated as a late cancellation, and we may offer the time slot to another client.
